Private Investigators Association of Virginia

The Private Investigators Association of Virginia Inc, commonly known as PIAVA, is the only membership organization in the Commonwealth of Virginia focusing solely on service to the Private Investigator profession.

PIAVA is strong, accomplished and focused. Our members are skilled, experienced and dedicated. We pledge to operate within a Code of Ethics and strive to operate in the spirit of our Preamble, helping one another with camaraderie. By so doing, our profession is strengthened and the public good is upheld.

Florida Association of Licensed Investigators

Since 1994, FALI has served as the leading advocate for professional investigators and licensed agencies throughout the State of Florida. Our commitment to professional conduct, ethics and education is the foundation for our organization.

Private Investigation and Security Professionals of WV

Private Investigation and Security Professionals of West Virginia is an association dedicated to supporting private investigators and security professionals with training, legislative, networking within our industry.  We offer several types of memberships to meet the needs of our members.  We offer quarterly training opportunities for our members to gain knowledge on ethics, professional development and business management. 

New Jersey Licensed Private Investigators Association

NJLPIA was established in 1955 to promote professionalism among our licensed investigator members. The NJLPIA, and its members, shall always display and promote a professional image, provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information, and find solutions to the problems of our profession. The association shall conduct educational programs beneficial to our members and their employees; develop the means of raising the standards of our industry, monitor and effect change in legislation effecting our profession, and pursue all avenues in an effort to foster harmony and good will among all of our members, the organization which licenses our industry, and the public.
